We're Married!

After 3 weeks and 5 days of planning, Mitchell and I took the plunge.

On July 31 2010, in front of our closest friends (not all of them unfortunately) and family, we exchanged vows and became an old married couple! Our wedding was held on the Missouri river in Great Falls Montana. It couldn't have been a more perfect location. The sun was out, it was about 80 degrees at the start of the ceremony. I made my entrance via Kim and Steve Shallue's pontoon boat, It was a total surprise to Mitchell!! My Dad and I made our way down the isle to the sweet sweet sounds of Rachel Brewer's piano. Even though Dad told me before walking before down the isle that he wasnt sure if he could give me away, he placed my hand into Mitchell's and encouraged his little girl to start her new journey. Michelle Kemper (Tiffany's Cousin) officiated the simple ceremony, vows were exchanged and Mitchell and I became a family.

Our day couldn't have turned out more perfect. Our family was gracious enough  to make the long journey to Montana to support our decision and love on us. We are so grateful for their love and support. This was a whirlwind of a month and our family stood bye us and encouraged us to JUMP!

After the festivities were finished, Tiffany and Mitchell drove their get-away car (Shallue's new Mazda Miata) to cascade MT, where Grandma Jan had picked out the most perfect bed and breakfast for them to spend their first night as a married couple. Let me just say, it was probably the most beautiful place that they have ever been.

Engaged!

I think sooner rather than later, this blog will be changed from Tiffany Marie to Mitchell and Tiffany Eliases Blog! Yep, that's right people, we are getting hitched!

Mitchell Proposed to me on July 2, 2010 on top of the lookout point in Idex Washington. I have yet to see the beautiful Mountain due to all of the cloud cover, but now that I  said YES to Mitchell, I'm sure there will be more chances to catch a glimpse of the elusive Mt. Idex.
Sorry, no pictures of the proposal. He made me climb up the side of a cliff to get up to the lookout and wouldn't let me take my camera for fear of squishing it.

Our wedding date is set for July 31, 2010. We are going to have a small-ish family ceremony with few friends at the beautiful Two Medicine Campground in Glacier national park. Probably one of mine and Mitchell's favorite places ever. I have a feeling its going to get even more special after July 31!

Runnin Down a Dream

Well, as most of you know, I am a runner. I have been striving to reach my potential for nearly 6 years and finally, I can see it coming near!

I have been afforded the most amazing teammates with whom I owe much of my success. Without their positivity and work ethic, I would have never made it. They inspired me to work my tail off all year because I knew for a fact that they were doing the same. Thank you teammates, you're shot is coming, I can feel it!

Well, like I said, I got my chance. I found my way through a fantastic, frustrating and liberating final season of collegiate cross country. In Salt Lake City Utah at the frontier Conference Championship, in front of my AMAZING family, I qualified for Nationals as an individual (placed 4th) and my team of beautiful babes placed second behind LCSC.. We promised each other that we would be Carroll College and we did it together.. That was one of the best days that I can remember.
Making some dreams come true at Conference

Nationals came along and I was so ready, ready to TEAR IT UP! I ran well, placed 85th out of 400 ladies, I had bigger goals, but I made it there. Life was good! I was in Vancouver Washington, really close to home. Some of my family drove through the night to get to my race, My Daddy and Grandparents drove up, My wonderful friends all made it. Ross (former Coach) and my runnerspace guys were there. It was really a fantastic adventure, one that I will NEVER forget.

well that was a great day.. So many people supported me, I am so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life!!

Now for track!!! Winter was real rough, but I figured some things out, thanks to my wonderful boyfriend and coaches and ended up having a spectacular spring season. I qualified for the NAIA National Championship for the second time. I qualified in the 10,000 meters, uncharted territory for this girl... BUT, I battled and ran the best I could on that faithful night in Marion Indiana.

Chris Made it too!!! Marathon lady!

                                                         Ouch
                                                       What a night...

Basically, this year was awesome. I am so blessed to be where I am right now. I am in the best shape of my life and I feel really good about myself and my choices..
I cant thank my coaches, teammates, parents and friends enough for all the support and guidance that they have given me over theses years.. God is good, all the time.

Lately

Its been a while since I have had a chance to find my way to this here blog. Better late than never I suppose.
Well, a lot has happened in the last six months. Life long goals have been achieved, jobs have been landed and I think I may have found a keeper in the boy department.
Lets start with school. I have officially graduated with my bachelor of science degree in Health and Human Performance! Thats right folks, im a graduate. Also, I have begun my graduate studies in Organization Management.  I may switch to education, but for now Im sticking with a Business degree. We will see where life takes me. Oh, and its free because I have accepted a graduate coaching position with the University of Great Falls' Cross Country and Track programs (Dream come true, ya think)!
I am living in a tiny apartment with two of my favorite people, Mitchell and Riley. I think the place is shaping up rather nicely and we are comfy, I suppose that is all that matters! Also, I have taken up baking, that's right people, our house nearly burns down once a week, but I am going to get the hang of this baking thing! I bought a bread maker and I feel as though the bread is edible and (might I say) Yummy too! I have also started to dabble into some recipes that I never thought I'd try and they are edible too! YES. All of this cooking was sparked by my lack of JOB, I'm working on that, but for now... I will have to continue my short stint as a suzy homemaker.
